One year in UK!

Today (21st of September) has one year that Thais ans I have arrived in UK.

- The post is in English because most of people who are visiting my blog don't know Portuguese.
- Se voce nao le nada de ingles, posta um comentario me xingando, sei lá... :-)

It is difficult to say if it is worth or not, at least my English improved 64%. Although I still don't understand a lot of things, specially when I am speaking with natives with the Yorkshire accent. But I am getting used to it.

Professionally it couldn't be better. Well I guess, even though after we finished we'd like to have the same job the we had before come here. Isn't it weird? Well, anyway... Let's see what happen!

Personally, it is not good stay far from Thais. We see each other every weekend, and we become students again, which is also not good, because share a house with other people again is quite tough.

But I am not only complaining, we are learning a lot not only statistics, but also cultural. We are learning how different and how similar other people from other countries are, and this is really interesting. And of course, after PhD there are some countries that we intend to go for visiting our friends here. Some we are already going Portugal and Italy. But also there are Mexico, Malaysia, Cyprus, Canada,...

Well I think that is it.

See you around,
Leo

I am glad that you are happy. It's surprising, considering the amount of time you spent with me in the past month... :D

Did you hear about the IHSVM society that Miguel created? :(
